Project Summery
This project focused on the complete renovation of a classic elevator cab in a private villa located in the prestigious Dubai Hills community. The client, the Mehiar family, wanted to preserve the timeless elegance of the existing cab while incorporating modern upgrades to enhance its functionality and safety. The renovation involved updating the existing paneling with sleek, modern metal panels. Skilled craftsmen carefully installed the new metal panels, ensuring a seamless fit and a polished, contemporary look. Vintage-inspired lighting fixtures were sourced to complement the classic aesthetic and create a warm and inviting ambiance. However, beneath the surface of the classic design, a completely new and modern control system was installed to ensure smooth, reliable, and safe operation. This included upgrading the drive system, door operators, and safety sensors. The project presented a unique challenge in balancing the preservation of historical elements with the integration of modern technology. Our team successfully achieved this delicate balance, delivering a beautifully updated cab that seamlessly blends classic charm with contemporary performance. The result is an elevator that not only enhances the beauty of the villa but also provides its residents with a safe and comfortable ride.
